Tight budget gaming PC help

Hi, I have old gaming laptop with gtx 850m and I'm considering to build a budget pc:

• $300-320
• Able to play AAA titles decently at 1080p
• Bit future-proof

300$ don't even cover the price of the GPU to run AAA title 60+ fps in 1080p

The only way you are getting something that plays AAA "decently" at 1080p is if you find A LOT of perfect deals on the used market... unless you have a 600ish dollars budget you should stick to your laptop.

nice try tho  this will never run AAA title smooth in 1080p but its mostly the best build you can have for that price

I'd just save up a bit longer and see how Ryzen plays out. You can likely build a pretty solid computer for around $450 - $500.

with the prices of ryzen released it seems meh for a SUPER budget build as the cheapest cpu is 120. the g4560 seems to hold that spot still

Maybe. We don't know the performance difference between the two.

If it indeed performs like an i5, it wins.

Also, that's rumor, not fact.

it makes sense though, 130 isnt exactly breaking the bank. But the g4560 performs near an i5 in most games anyway. though for non gaming tasks im gonna guess ryzen will wreck.

No, it performs nearly the same as an i3. It gets pretty handily beat by an i5.

Thaks everyone, you are right, I wouldn't buy much for $300, because I dont want to spend all my money for PC. But If I do, would be $400-500 enough for 1080p? I didnt mean 1080p 60fps max settings

With Ryzen theres a good possiblity. You could take $300 and put it into AMD stocks in hope of a quick return with the realse of Ryzen next month.
