Would not recomend for anything more than browsing and light gaming.

there is no such thing as an i3-5200U. I think you mean the i3-5015U or similar.

An i5 would be better. Try and find a modern i5 like an i5-7200U for those purposes.

Should be fine. Multitasking like that depends a ton more on RAM amount (although 8GB is still enough) than it does on CPU power. Also depends on the app you're trying to use.

Why not try for a real quad core, even if not Kaby? Like a 6300HQ

As an 8GB user, it's enough, just gotta use any browser other than chrome :P

 

Like, playing SC2 with a bunch of Firefox tabs my RAM reads around 6GB (yes I keep it on my OSD at all times)

Don't know what this is then Lol, i'm on a budget of roughly £400 i need a decent fast work laptop, doesn't need to game or anything just be really snappy
