Yeah, except the 520 is already overkill and more wattage isn't always a good thing. I've seen good reviews on the S12II 520w model, but not the 620W model.

870 isn't that good.. a modern i5, even a locked one, is quicker. It's super middle of the road now. I own one, so..

OK, thanks for the heads up.  I've heard  from a friend that his first gen i7 is still solid.  DDR4 alone might be worth the newer gen anyways

800 series are good if you can get them cheap, 900 series + board are expensive but the IPC is insanely good when you push them to 4Ghz+ on air. A 6Core trades blows with 5820k
