I'm curious hows the x99 Strix going?

Personally I've been through 3 boards and 2 6900k's.

The boards keep killing themselves and taking the cpu's with it.

 

Got rid of mine, went back to a 7700k/IX Hero rig until Skylake-X drops.

Can someone please tell me what adhesive was used in the process? I'm looking to do something similar but worry about crystals dropping on critical system components

It's not cheap at all, but has a ton of room in it and is built well.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.
