Good Laptop Deal

I personally think that this is a good laptop deal, but I was wondering what you all think about it.

Specs:

Lenovo Flex 2 in 1

15.6" 1080p IPS display

1TB HDD

8GB RAM

i5-6200u

All of this used, with a dent in the corner that is only cosmetic damage for $300. I have conformation that it is in good working condition and it has not been used that much.

What are your thoughts?

$300 isn't that bad, but it's a bit on the big side. Like $300 buys you a Lenovo X240 with similar specs, and that's a business-class machine from <3 years ago.

idk

I would be using it at home mostly and prefer a bigger screen, so size is not that big of a concern.

I have a Flex 3 14", specs in sig. It's fine for daily use but battery and HDD performance are both pretty mediocre.

Alright, then yeah, go for it. The U series processor will stay cool under browsing, Office, etc. Only HDD is to be of concern.. But it's a good deal for $300.

That's a great deal, normally build quality would be a bit of an issue but I'd overlook it for the price and the screen.

It's solidly built, just not exactly a 'premium' product as Flex is Lenovo's budget Yoga line.

Sounds good, I forgot to mention that it is a touch screen as well.

From what I found you will get about 4-5 hours of battery under light to medium load, the 15 inch might get a little better battery life than the 14 inch.

I have a 12.5" 2570p which whoops this machine in terms of performance stock, and you can drop an i7 QC into it.

But it's running OSX currently, so no performance records for me.

idk

I've had experience with low-end Yogas.

Overheating, crapware and shit build quality. I wouldn't go near that thing with a ten-foot pole, and it forever tarnished my image of Lenovo.

Really, that thing sucked

My mum has a Yoga 700 11 with a Core M3. Not a bad machine by any stretch, but if you pushed the video hardware it would artifact like crazy.

New BIOS update fixed it, so I'm happy with it.

idk

Thats a good deal in comparison to a new laptop you might find so although I dont know the used market I'm going to have to say for an i5 and a 1080p screen $300 isn't half bad, although not so much hugely better than new that you won't find a clearance item at a local tech store that's better value.

i7 8700k 5.0GHz 4.0Ghz Cache (Stock Cooler)

2x8GB 3400mhz RAM 19-19-19-38

GTX 1060 3GB 2050Mhz Core, 9500Mhz Memory
