You can't pair an i7 7700k with an X99 motherboard. Get a Z270 motherboard. Also you might want to consider another SSD. You do not need a sound card. Also for such games this is way to overkill. Let me make a PCpartpicker for you

The case ram, corsair ML120 Pro LED White i chose for the looks and to match the build. If you don't care about looks go with a Define R5 without the window and replace the ml pro led fan with another noctua, and go with the hyper 212 instead of the H7, and replace the ram with the cheapest DDR4 2400Mhz 2x8 GB kit you can find.

Edit: Also you can easily get a super cheap windows key from like Kinguin or smth. I assume you're playing on 1080p resolution and that's why i went with the 4GB RX480, you might want to switch it to an 8GB RX480 or a 1060. You don't need a 1070 for 1080p

ANOTHER edit. I totally agree with Stealth80. Also, you might want to wait until March, then the processors will be a lot cheaper and you might want to go with a Ryzen CPU. Heck you since you got so much money you could go with a GTX 1080 but for the games you play even a RX 470 or GTX 1060/480 is more than enough.

Aaaaand another one: The motherboard supports Asus Aura RGB led, so adding a small Aura RGB compatible led strip might be a good idea

Please don't advise i5's for new build rigs when i7 is clearly within their budget:

42HiPN0.png

i5 is fine at the moment aka I wouldn't tell someone to upgrade from an i5 to an i7 IF ALREADY OWNED, but for a new build which people want to last 2 - 3 years we should really be pushing i7's now if it's in budget without gimping the build.

EVGA NEX is bad. Bad voltage regulation as a result of a group regulated design on such high power PSU.

The FSP Hydro G is better (I believe the GQ is based on that platform).

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)
