i5 for sure because it is more cost effective. I don't imagine an i5 not being capable of streaming.

are you doing transcoding or direct transfer?

smart TVs don't need transcoding and can accept "raw" files

I'm doing direct transfer to a UHD HDR TV with a dual-core Bay Trail celly

the only limiting factor would be storage, you need fast storage if you plan to serve 3 TVs

Ok... Plex server i understand it does transcoding.. i really don't know how it s work... but if i doesn t transcode an older processor doesnt work? something like Intel Core2Quad Q9300 2.5GHz ? but i think here is an another problem with data transfer speed i think... what do u want to say with fast storage? example! tks for answering !
