B150 or H170 with i5 6600k

I am going to buy i5 6600k but i am little bit confused whether i buy B150,H170 or Z170.I don't want to overclock my i5 6600k.My first choice is B150 because of tight budget,2nd is H170.

Help me to choose best of them.

you can even put it on H110.

If you don't wanna overclock, why did you buy a Overclockable CPU?

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

If you don't want to OC I wouldn't go with a 6600k. Get a 6500 or maybe a 6600 if you really need that extra few MHz and couple that with an H170 board.

Just like @kameshss points out, either get a non k i5 like the 6500, or get a z170/z270 mobo.

If you don't want to overclock, you might as well just get an i5 7600 and a b250 mobo or something instead. The i5 7600 has the same base frequency as the 6600k but also has a higher turbo, so it's only better while being cheaper.

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Get the cheapest one you can find which has all the connectors you need.

Or not because pairing a h or b chipset with a k sku CPU is wasting potential from the CPU.

But since you have a unlocked CPU take a Z170 or 270 board. many people later regret to not have gone unlocked when they run into CPU limits. Cheaper in the long run to do a simple and easy OC, then buy new platform later.

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

H170 is often close enough in price to low-end Z170 boards that you may as well just get one of those. H110 is actually significantly poorer equipped, as it only has 6 PCIe lanes and single-channel memory. I'd get B150/B250 if you don't intend to overclock.

But as the others have said, if you don't intend to overclock there is no reason to get the i5-6600K. You should get an i5-6500/i5-7500 instead to save some money on the overclocking features you won't be using.
