yeah thats really cool, I would've gotten an "i" instead of an "x" but I got a really good deal on it, i think it was about 80$ after a rebate (100$ before)

okey well thats a really good deal! i paid 226,98 usd for the rm i.. :P because everything is more expensive in sweden due to all the taxes.. like the 1080 TI cost 959,01 usd here in sweden :/

Scandinavian countries are kind-of famous for their expensive living, but yeah, wages are significantly higher there as well.

As for the whole RMx vs. RMi thing, I'm surprised Corsair still sell RMi units. The only difference between the two series is Corsair Link, and I don't think there's many people out there who use it at all, leave alone who are willing to pay a decidedly nonzero price premium for it. The only reason I was looking at an RM750i when last upgrading my PSU was that the RMx series hadn't come out yet. Just as I was about to make the decision to go for the RM750i though, the RM750x hit the market, so it was something of a no-brainer from there.

I still think PC desks like this are best suited to dual-system builds, because otherwise it'll just seem like a massive empty void with a comparatively tiny motherboard in one corner, but I have to say you did very well to hide that, and it does genuinely look good.
