Rainmeter skin: mii system skin 2 remodified (updated to V2.3.1)

Guest
Go to solution Solved by Lucas James,

I know this is quite an old thread but I'm curious if anyone has the coding to add fan speed stats for multiple GPU's I've tried a few different things but i can't get fan speed to individual cards.

Thanks in advance.

After browsing for a perfect Rainmeter skin I found out mii system skin 2 by abu604

(credits to original owner http://www.deviantart.com/art/mii-system-skin-2-206965499)

And attomsk (https://www.reddit.com/r/Rainmeter/comments/2rnp1p/my_detailed_cpugpu_status_skin_oc/)

I find it lacking so decided to remodify it completely

What you need:

Here is how it looks like in real life (updated to 2.1). Sample 01

Spoiler

Sample01.png

Download link (zip package)

Download link 2 (rmskin version)

DO NOTE: rmskin are usually gets updated later

As of now ZIP file and RMSKIN is updated to 2.3.1

Do double check to see if they are. (it should show in Version line of each ini file or in readme)

Yes you must have questions. Ask me.

I do have DeviantArt account but it's a mess.

It should work with any resolution. So far tested with only 1080p.

Update log:

Spoiler

Changes made in V1.1:

  • Added a music player, with song title and artist name as seen in the preview picture above.
  • The cover art and control buttons (play/pause/prev/next/stop) is a separate skin. That way you can keep all the bars together and not having something else that looks off.

Changes made in V1.2:

  • Added transparent cover art and a text showing no cover art in case the cover art is missing or no music player is running.
  • Cover art has a border to look better on other backgrounds.
  • Media buttons and cover art border color can now be changed to any color you like.
  • Minor changes to media buttons. Hovering over them now gets an effect (before only clicking on the button does an effect).
  • When no artist info is present (or when music player is not running) music bar will display either 'No title info' or 'No artist info' (or both).
  • Minor fix on CPU and GPU bars.

Changes made in V1.2.1 (minor):

  • Added Freq before the CPU frequency and VID
  • Play button looks bit flat so fixed that

Changes made in V1.2.2 (minor):

  • Fixed an issue where if GPU or CPU usage reaches 100% the percentage sign gets cut off

Changes made in V1.3:

  • Added a Shuffle and Repeat button for the media player as well as a small letter beneath to indicate the state

Changes made in V2.0 (major):

  • Added a config file to modify skin easily
  • Major overhaul to all the skin

Changes made in V2.1:

  • You can change between 12hrs and 24 hrs format
  • You can change the grey bar background color

Changes made in V2.1.1 (minor):

  • Thanks to @RedPhoenixQ for spotting an issue with the GPU skin. It has been fixed.

Changes made in V2.1.2:

  • Made changes to CPU bar as 100% usage would go off range

Changes made in V2.2:

  • Added support for 2 GPU. More than 2 still need some time
  • Added some small descriptions when hovering around certain stuff of the skin

Changes made in V2.2.1 (minor):

  • Measures up to 4 GPU at the same time
  • Cleaned the skin a bit, nothing changed visually

Changes made in V2.3:

  • X and Y coordinates are not synced together
  • Skip time of current track by clicking on the time bar.

Changes made in V2.3.1:

  • Fixed media player
  • Added a 32-bit version for MSI Afterburner

At 1080p the skin almost covers the entire desktop (as seen from the spoiler) so not sure how 768p will do though you can always remove unwanted meters

Sure. It will look big and not fit doesn't mean it won't work at all, share a screenshot. I have a 768p laptop too and will see how it goes later :D

Hello !

I just created an account to say thanks, because I was using the original version, but yours is so much better.

Just an idea : you should do some variants for the time bar for non-english guys (24H without AM/PM).

The readme file says you can do 24hrs no problem if you read it lol. Welcome to LTT

I have a problem.

The graphics bar does not work. The only thing that syncs from MSI Afterburner to the bar is the name. All values saty blank.

Please help me, I really like this skin and the CPU and GPU bars is a big part of it!
