The Time

MPC

My project is called “The Time”, characterized by elegance, precision and attention to details while looking the aesthetics impact by using colours’ contrast like silver/gold. The structure will be supported by aluminum profiles wrapped in mahogany and will provide the base of the case in which will be housed the PC liquid cooling system. From the base there are 8 polished aluminum pillars which will allow the securing of water tanks made with green plexiglass.

Inside one of these tanks a clock is placed and the PC cooling liquid. In the other tank there are the hardware parts, also set while trying to organize the cables in a non-chaotic way.

The planning took a lot of time for an accurate study of the system of perfect gears to recreate the correct time. After it switch to draw on specific softwares 2D and 3D the gears that are carried out with cnc pantograph in inner sections and the teeth are manually operated .  Creation of the linchpins to keep suspended the clock through stainless steel cables on tank containing the liquid cooling of the pc.

well, it's so confusing and weird with those pictures all over. He didn't need to include brand logos.

There's a parts list...and this is posted in the build logs section...

Sponsored builds pretty much always require you to put the brand logos, that's the entire point of sponsoring someone...

btw, what is that thing in his 2nd post? that doesn't look like a computer by far.

Hi Wikiforce, It is the realization of the clock made by me and is part of the theme of this project modding.

thanks Enderman ;)

ambitious , good luck...whats the medium of the clock, some aluminium alloy. I would be a bit frightened of a gear shaving floating onto the mainboard if pcb is fully immersed in cooling solution.

It is aluminum. You're right and in fact later show the pictures relating to anodization of the pieces to avoid galvanizing ;)

it will clearly be PART of the build, give the dude TIME to get more posts posted (or finish the next phase so he has more pictures to post) and it will take shape.

ahahah yes yes all right !
More forward you will see the effect it will have on the whole structure and especially also after anodizing ;)

Anodization of various gears, pins and plates both for an aesthetic factor and to avoid galvanizing Because the clock will be immersed in the coolant.

so will the clock function as a pump for the fluid?

The clock will be functioning within the Plexiglas tank containing the liquid to cool the PC. The pumps will be placed on top of the base.

Sponsorship seems to be an ever expanding trend on this website.

Very impressive craftsmanship OP; certainly a unique build that I plan on following. Thanks for sharing.

I7-7700k@5.1ghz + 1080ti @ 2050mhz + 32gbs Ram + 2TB SSD = CSGO

i7-6700k@4.9ghz + 980ti @ 1501mhz + 16gbs Ram + 1 TB SSD = Backup

i7-3770k@4.8ghz + 680 4gb + 32gbs Ram + 500gb SSD = Retired/Office work

Thanks MasterDebater :)

Sponsorships are the vital part for modding projects. If you think for any project you have to buy all the material such as hardware and liquid cooling ...
Thanks to you who follow the project. As a characteristic of mine, my plans are very special and never seen before.
Good vision ;)

I plan to finish the project by the end of the month and then I will consider with the sponsor whether to participate in some event.
It is a very special project and complicated and that's why the sponsors did not give me a time limit.
