Project Armada - Watercooled | Define R4 Titanium | EK Waterblocks | Completed - Final Photo's

Akula

Polished Capacitors

Something that irritates me with Gigabyte motherboards, those silly blue capacitors, well a little 99% Alcohol solved that issue.

Can't have a Titanium build with blue caps :o

Ok that's enough of the motherboard, it's not that special :P

99% is best, but 91% will work just fine too.

I heard using isopropyl on capacitors could ruin the capacitors?

Whats that leather looking material behind the case?

I think it is some sort of sound dampening material.

I just used any regular alcohol, eventually they all do the same thing.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but do you know what size screws you used to mount those p-clips to the motherboard tray? The cable management on my Define R4 is getting out of control and I'd love a way to tame the back panel! There aren't enough places to affix Velcro zip ties. Thanks!
