Can't seem to add a quote to an existing post?

Go to solution Solved by LogicalDrm,

Quote the post as new reply. Click on top left handle to select it, ctrl+c. Go to post you want to edit, select correct place and ctrl+v. Works fine with Firefox.

I tend to miss a post I meant to quote, and ever since the upgrade I haven't been able to take the quote from a new post and then add it to the one I already have. It's not a huge deal, but it does mean that I end up double posting a few times here and there. :/

How exactly are you trying to do it, and what browser are you using?

When did it stop working (there have been lots of updates)?

Well before we updated (went from the oldschool IPB to new IPS) I used to just click the quote and hit ctrl+c (which is how I thought you'd do it post-update). As for browser, I've tried it on IE, Firefox, Edge, and Chrome, all to no avail.

I kinda disappeared for the most part when the forum was upgraded (even though I was in the beta for it). So yeah.
