However your claim that the media isn't spreading lies is entirely false as well, for example CNN claiming only media outlets could look at wikileaks legally, or the time they cut part of a black women's speech to simply say stop burning down our homes when she was encouraging the rioting people to burn down the suburbs instead, I could go on but then I'd have to look for sources.

To be fair, it depends how one chooses to look at that chart.

While yes, it's 3 homicides lower than the year prior, the past two years have seen a substantial increase over the two prior to that.

The year-to-date homicides so far this year are higher than last years.

Thus, from those numbers one can say that over the last 5 years there has been a steady increase in homicides.
