Best 1060 to get?

Danboy360

So after deciding on my CPU (as seen in the CPU thread here), my next question mark is what 1060 to get.  What is the best 1060, which is less than £260?

the difference between 1060s is very small maybe just a few FPS and so it is just better to get the one with the best price/warranty/power consumption/looks.

However, the RX 480 does outperform the 1060 in most new DX12 games and the same goes for it. It is also generally cheaper by a few pounds in the UK.

I have more dedocated WAM than you on my Minecraft server!

Specs:

RX 480 Sapphire Nitro+

i5 4460 w/ Raijintek Aidos cooler

XFX TS 650W PSU

Cheap OEM Acer motherboard w/ Cheap dollar tree Micro-ATX case

12GB DDR3 Decocated WAM

1TB Seagate Barracuda HHD

BTW I live in the UK so if I don't know where you live I will quote all prices in £

It has an awful lot of coilwhine. Almost 90% of cards has it

EDIT okay nvm it's the G1 that one is fine but he is looking for UK

not really unless you get a bad card, i would go for a 480 over 1060 any day.

This is a solid 1060 and great price. I would also recommend going this route. You could also check out the 480 but I'd still prefer the 1060.

Apart from each manufacturer doing their own OC'ing, does it really matter what brand I go for? I'm not particularly planning on OCing the card once I get it, so that Palit one looks great, as does the Gigabyte one!

Get the cheapest one, then open Afterburner and after a few clicks, you just save $40+ by not going with the factory overclocked "gaming" version

CPU: Ryzen 2 2700@ 4.0Ghz    Mobo: Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 Wifi    Cooler: EVGA CLC 240    GPU: GTX1080 FTW DT @ 2113Mhz   PSU: EVGA 750W P2

Case: Fractal Design Meshify C   Displays: 34" LG34UC79G, 24" Dell
