It's a little old so maybe not all of those companies are still around, but at least some are.

 

No luck, there are only two on that list for Austria and neither has Clevo or even Dell in their online shop.

I didn't even know that manufacturer, do you think they are any good? They seem a bit pricey for the hardware and my instincts scream thermals since they look awfully thin but who knows...

I just got informed that most resellers in Europe give the Clevo laptops their own names and model numbers....how in the world am i supposed to find the P650HP6 you mentioned if the reseller names it differently.

XMG sells the P650s under...  P like 507 I believe P507 or P506.  They should look the same with like a different finish from the American Sager NP8156.

PCSpecialist cut the P650HP6 price by 100 GBP in case anyone from the UK is interested (too bad I missed out, ohh well).

You guys are right the P507 by XMG is the same as the Sager but....it's not available yet it's a pre order.....now the only thing left would be an MSI, is the MSI GE62VR Apache Pro any good? 1600€ seems low for MSI.

Also i talked to my son and decided to up my game a bit and look in the price range of around 2500 in exchange he'll get a cheap Christmas present.

Is it just me or the GPU switch in the clevo control centre is bugged? It doesn't let me switch back to hybrid from discrete because it thinks I'm in hybrid mode all the time.

P950?  I can check next week.  My P650 doesnt do that.

Ofc, i went with a total of 16GB ram dual and a 500GB SSD and a wifi adapter since my son doesn't use cable.

2-3 days for them to assemble it and 2-3 days for the shipping that's just within the time limit.

Thanks for the help btw. you probably saved me from buying a piece of junk. ;)

i can add a bit extra if worth it

atm tho im not being asked to pay extra (i got the first vers of the gl502vs, was offered an upgraded vers with 7700hq..told them ill pass on it for now and asked for other options..so waiting to hear)

 

in my country tho (israel), dont have a large selection (no sager, msi and such)..mainly asus..so, if i wont get a refund, and only a replacemet..what should i go for? or..try to go for?

from what ive heard at least, it shouldnt have a discharge problem

it's not great.

 

It has issues with thermal throttling, because for some reason Asus decided to only use two heat pipes and share them across both the GPU and CPU. so if one gets hot so oes the other, they essentially heat each other up. which is not good for how large the laptop is

Cooling pads are usually useless since many are equipped with poor fans.
