Anyone intrested in being an Overwatch commentator? (Note, there is a catch)

Dopam1ne

Me and a few friends has started a streaming production company, although we don't make money of it yet, at least we break even. We are looking for people create good relations with so when can pay them a good sum, they are willing to come and work for us. Right now are looking for someone who wants to be an Overwatch commentator. No experience is needed since we will help you practice and become hopefully sometime in the future become a professional commentator. Here is the catch though, you have to live in Sweden and know Swedish since the commenting will be done in Swedish.

So if there is someone interested out there, please direct message me.

EDIT: It it possible to do it in English as well, however, the live in Sweden requirement still stands

I would be really interested but that's quite a big catch you got going there, you might want to include the Swedish part in the title :P because I get really interested then read the last sentence and then disappointment :(

If I played overwatch or spoke Swedish and didn't live in Indiana I would be interested.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

The title is meant to be click bait ;)

I'll ask mo colleges and try and convince them that if do it in English finding commentators will be much easier.  Do you at least live in sweden?

No sadly not, but I recommend you look on other more Swedish based forums or services which attract Swedish gamers because the amount of Swedish Gamers on a Tech Forum is going to be very low :P

Found this thread by coincidence, usually just lurking around in this forum and never had a reason to create my own user profile. I don't know if you are allowed to write in any other language but English so I keep it like this now.

I live in Sweden, have several hundred hours in Overwatch divided on three accounts, all in Master, never done any commenting though. If I may ask, the Overwatch scene in Sweden is not huge despite the vast amount of Swedish pro players, how do you plan to expand on that? Most Swedish speaking streams on Twitch rarely have more than 50 viewers on one channel for example. I suppose you could round up a couple of hundred Swedes by being well organized on social media, upload content on other platforms as Youtube etc. In my opinion, a bilingual commentating service more focused on the Swedish aspect of Overwatch rather than having the actual commenting in Swedish exclusively would be more popular, where uploading VODs in either Swedish or English depending on the subject would be one way to approach this. This could indeed be succesful since many of the Swedish pro players are already hugely popular throughout the community.

Please elaborate on this.
