Is it ok to have no fans?

So I received my X360 EK extreme loop today, but I'm having some issues

 

I have no room for any fans other than the 3 on the rad, is this okay? will my case overheat?

 

the other way will give me room for 2 or even 3 fans, but the pump will be at the top of the case and the reservoir will be at the bottom, I've heard you shouldnt do this, so my only option really is to have it the first way 

 

My case is NZXT 440

I'm sure it will be fine. a positively pressurized case will always find a way out.

Remember the R9 295x2? How the thing was cooled by a tiny single 120mm rad and still managed to stay cool?

 

Three separate fans (assuming it's a triple rad) should be plenty for anything.

So you think a GTX Titan X will stay cool just by it's own fans? the triple rad above it will act like 3 normal fans right?

Is the Titan X connected to the rad? Or is it only the CPU?

It's only CPU loop

You have an entire triple rad only for your CPU? Why? Do you plan to upgrade and add the graphics card too in the future?

 

Can you post a pic of the thing (or a crude drawing if it still isn't assembled, indicating all the fan holes)?

Well I've ran a system with a 3570K@4.2Ghz which is cooled by a h100i with no fans and a 290X cooled by a h75 which had a single fan spinning (and was the only fan that was spinning in the whole system). The reason why there was only one fan spinning in my whole system was my fan controller died so...yeah?

CPU temps under load: 80C (versus the usual 55C with both of it's fans a min speed)

GPU temps under load: 60C (versus 50C when there was 4 other fans spinning as well)

 

It's probably fine

I dont know about him but I have a triple rad for my cpu. My whole goal was to quite down the PC.

I can't take pic my camera is broken and just blurry as hell, but if you look at NZXT 440 case, the 360 rad takes all fan space at the top, and where all the drive bays are and 3 fans at the front, thats where the pump and reservoir is, the back fan had to be taken out to the 3 inch thick rad

Three intakes is probably fine though I'd put the fans facing upwards and out because that's the way heat goes; but yeah, you should be fine.

Would it be worth "skinning" my PC? e.g taking the front panel off for maximum air flow

Taking the front panel off will decrease airflow.

How so? since the front panel is solid, there is no holes, the cool air won't come in from the front?

I don't know. But you can measure temps with both the front panel on and off and decide for yourself.

I will do, just about to connect tubing, then realize I have no idea which port on the radiator is the outlet, it doesn't say on the rad or instruction manual..

Inlet and outlet are interchangeable.

Ok thanks for your help, just 1 more question. How much of a kink in the tubing can I get away with if any?

there should be no creases in the tubing at all

Any suggestions on how I can fit the tubing easier? I'm having trouble getting all the tubing over the fitting, would it be safe putting the end of the tube in boiling water to soften it up?

Yes, that is a common practice.

Ok, all tubing is connected but I'm left with a circle filter? where does that go? nowhere in the manual does it reference it, doesnt look like it goes in the reservior
