3930k h100i High temps

Running 3930k at stock voltage and clock speed and im getting temps of over 80c when underload.  running a h100i with silverstone AP 121 running at full speed on them.  would this be a h100i limitation or is there something wrong.

What's ambient? At stock I get 66 full load on a normal day (~18 celcius)

Are you mounting it to the point where the screws no longer rotate? Can you feel liquid circulating in the tubes?

radiator feels cold, not even warmish air going thru fans. output tube feels warm,

ambient is around 22c   when cpu is running stock voltage and frequency it idles around 48c than goes up to 70+ under load.  dont want to even oc when seeing stock go that far.

It almost feels like there's not enough circulation going through the radiator.

Yeah, what's your ambient? Mine is about 20C, and the hottest my 2.8GHz P4 (OC'd to 3.2-3.4GHz, think roughly GTX 480 heat output) ever gets is about 60C on a stock cooler from a 2.0GHz Celeron.

EDIT: Nevermind the ambient question. Maybe gently jiggle the tubes while it's on, maybe? Shake the rad? Anything that might knock air bubbles loose might do it.

Another question. How hot does the back of the CPU socket feel? (If you have a cut-out)

cpu at 52c, feels warmish. not burning hot but its warm.   pump/cooler could just be failing?

tried tapping/knocking the pump/bumping tubes and giving it a slight shake, no difference.

You have another cooler you can mount? If you wanna go through that trouble.

had a h80 that came with 2011 bolts, tried them on it instead of the ones that came with the h100i. it made the temps go down 2c. at this time i dont have any other coolers i could try.

Looks fine to me. But, maybe you could just get a simpler cooler for the time being, instead of buying that kit.

was also thinking of going to a custom loop in the near future, seeing as my h100i is dying it could be the perfect time too? than when i get it back from rma i could just use it in different pc/sell it to a friend.
