How to download windows 10 onto a usb, and then onto a PC

So I just finished building my computer, and I literally have the BIOS running right now, and I need to figure out how to download windows from Microsoft on my mac onto a usb, and then from the usb onto my SSD. Also, any tips for BIOS settings?

I'm not entirely sure how this can be done easily on a mac, Microsoft themselves have a tool for downloading Windows 10 to USB but you need a Windows machine as its an EXE file. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

Yeah just download the tool and go through the steps. You can make a media USB or a disc. I did a usb for a laptop awhile back

The download tool may not be Mac compatible. I'm trying to figure that out now...

Its not natively due to the fact its an EXE file, unless you used a third party program or a virtual machine to run it then it won't work.

Well you can use http://www.windowscentral.com/how-create-windows-10-installer-usb-drive-mac to get the ISO at least. Then you just need a way to make a bootable USB from it on the Mac side.

 

As for BIOS options, it should just be plug and play.
