How do you take off the wrist rest on the Logitech g710+ keyboard?

Every time I try to pull on it, it sounds like its going to snap. I can see that you can take it off because I see this keyboard around the LTT office without it. Got a new desk mic today and I need more space.

Lift it up and wiggle it downwards. that's how i removed the wrist rest on my G710+

Mine fell off all the time on me.  No broken clips or anything, it just didn't stay on anytime I picked it up and put it on my lap.  I think rotating it up farther than it is supposed to go is what causes the clips to release.

I picked it up at a odd angle and it fell off.

i was going l to tell you to hit it with a hammer until it brakes off, but what you did works too.

I typically squeeze the clips together and it comes off pretty easy.
