That looks fine, I would change the PSU to something fully modular (and better while we're at it) so you don't have to deal with any hardwired cables and have the option of buying full custom cables in the future.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

Yup, the connectors that say VGA1, VGA2, are graphics connectors (VGA stands for Video Graphics Adapter).

You're right, on a vacuum, but OP wants RGB, and AIOs lend themselves better for that.

If you want we could help you tweak the build to afford the i7 and keep the AIO :)

Liquid coolers don't automatically mean better cooling. They're usually louder with more points of failure than similarly performing air cooling counterparts. You're better off with a i7 7700K and a cheap air cooler than a i5 7600K with an expensive AIO. Clockspeed isn't everything.

It's always RGB ain't it these days... I already feel old.

Performance>aesthetics is always going to be the mindset I have but it is OP's build.

I get that it's annoying that the latest trend in hardware is not related to performance at all xD

Air cooling, I guess?

If you meant liquid cooling vs air cooling, I'd usually go for air cooling since you effectively get more bang for your buck, have less noise produced while not having to worry about pump failure, leaking (although very unlikely) and all that nasty stuff. Higher end AIOs (280mm and 360mm) will usually achieve better temps but the difference is marginal... we're talking an extra $40 for 2-3C cooler temps in your case.

10 minutes ago, [SuperNova] said:

Overclocking doesn't rely on the cooler only, it relies on the silicon lottery as well. But like I said, clockspeed ain't everything. A stock i7 7700K performs better than a i5 7600K clocked at 4.8GHz in many, many titles. Think about that.

2 minutes ago, [SuperNova] said:
