Reccomend an 8 pin power adapter for mid range GPU

Whats the proper alternative  for a PSU with no single 8 pin plug for a GPU power?  (150-180~ish watts tdp)

  • is it a 6+2 pin combo
  • 6 pin to 8 pin adapter
  • a molex to 8 pin adapter
  • Others

which one is safer  or are they all safe? post your recommendations , Thanks

Most of them aren't ideal. If your PSU doesn't have the required power connectors then you better not draw that much power

molex to pcie puts the CPU and GPU on the same rail, not a good idea for a low end psu

If you have a 6+2 it's the same thing as an 8 pin. If you don't have atleast on if those you need a new psu.
