  • When someone asked about Halflife 3, Newell joked that “the number 3 must not be said,” but confirmed that Valve has at least one single player game in the works

    • Saying “yes” when asked if the company was developing “any fully fledged single player games”

  • When asked in a different thread if Valve would ever consider revisiting the Half-Life and Portal universe in a new game, Newell answered “It’s not Half-Life 3: confirmed, but it is possible Half-Life related game: not out of the question”

  • Newell also stated the “We are continuing to use Source 2 as our primary game development environment”

    • "Aside from moving Dota 2 to the engine recently, we are are using it as the foundation of some unannounced products. We would like to have everyone working on games here at Valve to eventually be using the same engine. Linus you dont have to have a fibre channel SAN to have a SAN... you can also do FCoE and iSCSI over 10GbE for a "SAN"

This is exactly why I think you dumbing down your videos is a bad thing. You have grown so much and now there are many new people that don't know the reasons why you do the things you do. Instead of getting upset in WAN show and explaining everything where no one that needs to know will find it, why can't you add all that information in the videos. Be more detailed and explain the process at the end during add spots.

Audio is soooo much better.

 

Question though; With that interface, why not have two microphones and have stereo? I don't mean one on each person, just a little ambience so the left is left and the right is right.

And audio sounds kinda muffled to me,,,, might be because I have been listening to Rammstein all day. 
But no pops, whistles, etc so consistent if nothing else.

Its not my fault I am grumpy, you try having a porcelain todger that's always hard!
