Saving up for a new monitor

hconverse02

I'm going to start saving up for a display, preferably 24" or 27" at either 1080p or 1440p and over 60 Hz what should I get?

My budget is around $300-$400 usd, I can run a screen at 1440p, but I'd prefer to run at 1080p and on a 27" display because of my rx 460's capabilities.

Thanks!

Try using the PSU Tier List!

I'd suggest getting a good 1080p screen if you "only" have a RX 460 in your rig. That poor little card's definitley not going to cut it for gaming in 1440p.

I've heard 27 inch and 1080p don't mix well.

I'm used to lo res gaming and such so it wouldn't be a big deal for me if there are good inexpensive 27" 1080p monitors out there

Eh idk but if you think it'll be fine then it's up to you. I don't really know many good monitors and don't have time, just look for name brand ones with good reviews.

You must be located outside the US, because 1080p panels do not cost over $400 here.  If you find one, please point it out.  Give this a look.  If you can find it for a good price in your area, I'd recommend it.  It has good contrast, color accuracy isn't too shabby, and no backlight bleeding.
