Help - Opening programs on main monitor

I recently set up dual monitors, i usually will have something running google chrome on my second monitor. but when I open a new window of chrome while on my main monitor the new window will open on the second monitor. (hope that made sense) 

 

basically im trying to say, is there a way to make all programs i want to open, open on my main monitor. (yes i made sure my main monitor is monitor #1)

Not sure if that is possible. Chrome remembers where you had the window before you closed it. When you open Chrome again it will start e new instance of it with default settings, which is in this case your main monitor. But maybe there is a tool for that to download.
