American Truck Simulator Keyboard H-shifter

Samsonsuperco

I mapped my number pad to use it as an H-shifter (7-4-8-5-9-6 is the gear pattern) but I need the keys to hold. Right now the truck will only stay in gear if I hold the key down. Is there a way I can sort of "put the key on hold" without touching it? There isn't a setting in game for it.

Autohotkey. Download it, figure it out. Not too difficult.
