Yes, there are some IPS Glow and Backlight bleed issues here and there. When my PG279Q is completely dark, I would never think "Wow, this really looks like a €850 monitor!" - I have one small spot of backlight bleed, but the IPS glow is much more noticeable.

But oh boy does it come alive during gaming and even in windows. Coming from an old 1080p monitor it is comepletely night and day. The colors are amazing.
