RGB LED Strip to Molex connector Help!

Go to solution Solved by dany_boy,

Yes its perfectly safe as long as they don't short out. Double check the polarity so that you don't fry your LED controller. Should you have any more questions, I will gladly help you with anything electronics.

Cheers!

Greetings,

I know it is easy to connect a single colour LED strip to a molex connector, but does the same principle apply to a RGB LED Strip?

I bought some RGB LED strips from Amazon and it arrived with the following items :-

-5m LED Strip (5050 RGB)

-12v DC adapter

-RJB Controller with remote.

I want to know if it's safe to strip the 12v DC adapter wires and connect it to the 12v wires of any molex connector.

I have attached images for of the items mentioned above. Also is the wiring diagram correct?

Keep it simple.
