Omxp

hi,  I have a benq monitor with HDMI 1.4 input and DisplayPort, will xbox one s HDMI 2.0a work with my monitor to play games on 4k resolution?

or should I use a signal converter and use the displayport?

thanks

HDMI 1.4a cant hande 4k at 60fps. IF your monitor supports 4k at 60hz over DisplayPort you will need to use that to get 60hz on 4k with xbox ones s.

In theory it should work. Never tried it my self. I use usb-c to display port to get 4k 60hz on my monitor with my laptop.

All HDMI versions are compatible with each other, it will work fine, but only up to 4K 30 Hz.

No one makes these converters. People only make DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 converters, not the other way around.
