So I saw this one pop up in my feed, overclocking enthusiast Der8auer made a new and much more affordable (30ish euro) delidding tool.

 

 

He mentions it's going to be worldwide shipping, so I thought I'd post this here. In the comments there are recommendations on TIM and glue.

Looks good. Never did it though, i mean replacing the thermal compound on the die, is it really worth the risk ?

According to Caseking.de, the new tool will be available on 22 Feb. Will get one for sure.

The Rockit 88 is already available and not badly priced if you're in the US. I imported one to UK which does significantly add to the cost.
