I just dropped off the G502 for return to Amazon as it's so annoying, guess I'll use my Mizar again in the meantime.

 

Just my luck really.

I initially ordered a RAT MMO 7 and after 2 months it hadn't been delivered, so I gave up - then spent a lot more time finding a good mouse, and now that I've got the G502 I don't like it.
