Best Cpu cooler & fans for itx?

vinchy

What is the best Cpu Cooler my ITx case which is running on a i5-6600k? I have a few options in my mind like ID-Cooling Frostflow 240L or a Corsair H60 or do should I go for aircooling? For the fans the case is a Phanteks Evolv Itx Red Special Edition any suggestions for the fans that can give me good intake of air to the case?

What's your budget? There are quite a good few air coolers that could be a better choice than those two AIOs.

That case is going to give you cooling issues on your GPU. Completely unsure why it's so popular.

Yeah I noticed that when I was playing Assetto Corsa and it peaks at around 70c making the air inside the case heat up causing even the side panel heatup too.

If you're not concerned about looks, I'd probably go for the Noctua NH-D14. Rivals 240mm AIOs when it comes to performance, while simultaneously being quieter and having less points of failure.

you should be able to use any air cooler in that case, it has 200mm clearance

Kinda big one for a ITX case, you can more or less take any air cooler that don't interfere with your RAM.

yeah im thinking of getting an air cooler but the problem is it sits close to the gpu and maybe the heat from the back of the gpu might be going to the air cooler and might cause more heat (i guess xD)

Dual-X's are good but there are better options available if you're not dead set on them for the looks.

An NH-U14S or NH-D15 would be excellent.

https://dynaquestpc.com/product/noctua-nh-d15-cpu-cooler/

280mm AIO's would perform a bit better but wouldn't be as quiet.

The 212x would also be a better bang for your buck if you just want a respectable oc: https://dynaquestpc.com/product/cooler-master-hyper-212x-cpu-cooler/

probably im set for Dual-X's, for the cooler i still really cant decide.

*PS: Im on a stealth black and red setup so im not getting a led fan, also i have a msi gtx 970 which have a white led logo and it somehow matches with the id cooling frostflow 240L. but if you can suggest other coolers for the theme of my setup i will take a look at them :)

Oh, you're looking at non-led Dual-X's? They're good for led fans but there are usually many better options if you just want black fans. That being said, DynaQuest doesn't have a great fan selection.

The Frostflow works but sticking with 140mm's where possible like in the rear with a Kraken x40 would probably be quieter: https://dynaquestpc.com/product/nzxt-kraken-x40-liquid-cpu-cooler/

I'm using Fractal Venturi for my intake in my Core 500 build. For your 2 options, I'd get the ring because of aesthetic tbh.

Sickleflows are mediocre at best and probably worse than the stock fan.

Riing's are more expensive and not better than Dual-X's.
