27in IPS Monitor for Video/Pictures Color Correction Editing

Looking for 27 inch IPS in the USD $500-$600 area. Don't care about Hz since i have a dedicated monitor for gaming. Can't go higher in inches due to space on my desk. 4K is not a must but will love if I could get it, I'm fine with 2k though. Any suggestions. Thanks.

The Asus PB278Q is the first monitor to spring to mind when I think of a 27" 1440P IPS monitor.

The PB279Q is sort of the successor to the PB278Q and is 4K.

Dell also has nice offerings that fall in your budget.

Like this Dell? Read the reviews on couple sites and sounds like the best in my budget Dell wise. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PC9HFO8/ref=psdc_1292115011_t1_B00YWCYKQM

That seems like a solid option and fits your budget snugly.

I assume you are aware of potential scaling issues with using 4K in a 27" form factor?
