Should work, i think you'll just have black bars on the top and bottom of the 27". Never tried multi monitor setups, so it's just an analyse, process, judge sort of response.

-According to a topic i saw on Tom's, it  shouldn't be a problem.

yeah you might have to raise the two 25inch monitors slightly to center it with the 27inch image

Hello guys

I want to build my first triple-monitor setup with two Dell U2515H(IPS,1440p,25") and one in the middle ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q(IPS,1440p,27"). The two main reasons for the 25"at the outside are the budget and the space on my desk. I will mostly use the Asus ROG for gaming but i wanted to ask if i can use this setup also for triple-monitor gaming or am i running in a few issues?

Thanks 4 ur answers

i mean it sounds awesome but do you have a pc that will be able to run 3 x 1440p monitors?

Have you thought about 3440x1440 Ultrawide monitor? or nah

Ran triple 1080 for years. Was gonna try it with 1440 but I simply don't have the power to pull it off. Would be old in older games but anything decent will be difficult.

Unless you don't mind lowering re res to scale for 1080, the it will depend on the game.

Main RIg Corsair Air 540, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz

Spare RIg Lian Li O11 AIR MINI, I7 4790K, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, G.Skill Ares 2400 32Gb, EVGA 1080ti, 1080sc 1070sc & 1060 SSC, EVGA 850GA, Acer KG251Q 1920x1080@240hz

Lol well I only tried it on one game as I received a game ban on cod ghost after using it on many titles. So didn't try it on the cod.

It was only triple 1080 as I only have a single 1440.

Bf1 easily seen over 100 fps between med/high settings but the cpu couldn't handle that. That's about 6.2 million pixels. Compared to 4k which is about 8 mil. then triple 1440 would be 11mil.

So a single card would not get you the frames you would like in current titles.

An ultra wide or second card would be ideal.
