Which front fans for NZXT H440?

I removed all the HDD bays at the front for better airflow and was wondering if I should opt to get either airflow fans such as the corsair AF 140mm or static pressure fans? The fans that came by default are quite too loud for my liking.

Have you tried lowering the fan speeds?
