Title. I was going to by a SSD, but now I don't know.

these are all from early december, whats the budget and what capacert are you aiming for? the MX300 275GB is usiually a good deal

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Just news. Just noticed that most SSD's prices has spiked up to $20-50.

I prefer Crucial drives and they haven't gone up. the 1TB is like $260

About a year ago I got 2 MX200 512GB for just over $400 now you can get the new versions for $280

i dont really keep track but i just checked what my UV400 240GB goes for now and its $22 more so yah i guess they have gone up

Coming from a tech background, why would you ever sell a drive? Just repurpose them.

sorry my point was:
if you need or want an ssd today and you know prices are going to rise or ARE rising...then the logical thing to do is to buy it today

I bought my 8gb ddr4 2133mhz from corsair* in early december, went to check its price now at the same shop it already is 33 dollars more expansive from what I paid...

I think this was really just normal market fluctuation that they were trying very hard to make a news story out of. I've seen prices increase in December as well. That's right after Black Friday... >.>

Yeah but at one point those were selling at a pretty steady $115 just a few months ago.

Yes. And yet before that it was higher... a 5% difference is within normal market pricing fluctuations.
