What are your thoughts on the Corsair Obsidian 750D?

Hi everyone, I'm thinking about getting this case to replace an Antec Three Hundred. I just need your thoughts on it.

Nice case. 

I have a 250D and they're generally well-built, good cases. But don't use Windex on the window.

It's really freaking huge. If you don't have two or more GPUs then everything is gonna look tiny in it. Corsair build quality, despite this being their top of the line series of cases, is still lacking compared to competitors like Phanteks and Fractal Design.

I have one huge MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X so it shouldn't look that tiny.

That particular 1070 isn't that big.

 

Here's a well-packed 750D and it still looks a little roomy in there

It's still better to have too much room than too little though.

It's a mid-tower and I really want a full-tower. I've searched online and the 750D is probably the only decent one I've seen, all of the others look cheap and plasticy.

The other Obsidians are made the same, you do know that right? The 450D is just a smaller 750D.

 

Why do you need a full tower though? If you're putting one GPU in there it doesn't even make sense to have a case that huge.

Mid-towers are just too small for me now.

They are just simply not a viable option for me now. I'm struggling to fit everything it to my Antec Three Hundred (Mid-tower) so I doubt a 450D would make much difference.

You do realize that A. The 450D is much bigger than the Antec 300 and B. the cable management is nill in your Antec which is why you can't fit everything in there? I can fit a system with the same hardware (bar an mATX motherboard) in my Nanoxia DS4 and have no problems because it has cable management and decent drive mounting options. I think you'd be fine with a 450D if you saw how not small they are. I helped build my friend's system with two GTX 980s, a 4790K, an H100i, SSD + HDD, and a wireless card all in the 450D and it fit without issue and he was easily able to manage everything despite having never built a system before.

I'm sorry but I'm not interested in any mid-tower case. The 450D maybe good enough for you but it isn't for me, thanks for your help though.

I'm at the point where getting anything beyond an itx for single gpu setups makes zero sense--it's all wasted space to me now.  Funny how perspectives can differ lol. The 750D might be old, but it's still a looker.  Until cases have type c connectors as standard, cases haven't changed too much--it's mostly clones with psu shrouds and no 5.25" bays.
