Choosing the best monitor

Thank you for your attention, I'll be quick. I'm looking to buy a monitor for my needs (school projects, gaming, web stuff) and I don't know what to really choose.I have 2 options right now, a 21.5 (75Hz) and a 24 (60Hz) same price, both 1080p...What do you say?

Get the 24in monitor for school work because it helps to have a bigger monitor in the long run.  Going from a 60Hz to a 75Hz is not that big of a difference.

24 inch. ive used 60 and 75 hertz and could not tell the difference. how much do the monitors cost, i know they are the same price but i am just curious.
