The Future of OFFLINE Gaming

theres one thing :

it shud have been called "tabletop gaming" and not "offline gaming"

as I expected this to be a video about how always online DRM

and forced multiplayer is slowly overtalking the game market ,

games being more and more focused on the online multiplayer only,

and thus a TRUE singleplayer campaing is rare to see

Yes, the title could be misleading in that way.

But I have to forgive it because

A) I like board games, and I enjoyed the video

B) Triple mention of Diplomacy at the end, probably the best game I've played, and the one I least likely will play again due to the problem in finding willing companions, time, and a setup (online servers seemed to be the solution, except there's always at least one player quitting halfway through it, greatly distorting the game).

Ok im really curious as my group of friends and I just got into D&D, what did you use for your map projector?

can you just use any mini projector on your ceiling, and a program on your computer and your good or is there more?

If you're looking for a guide on building a high quality battlemap projector, I'd check this out. http://www.gamergroup.com/page.roleplaying-game-articles.b.2827.r.1.html

No, any old projector will not work for you. It's very important that you use a short throw projector in order to get it to properly display on the table surface. I can link you to some guides later today when I have time to pull them up. If you decide you want to go ahead with the project and build one feel free to message me directly as well and I can help you out. :)

I would greatly appreciate that!

All of that was done on Roll20. You need to be a subscriber for the dynamic lighting though.
