I would love to see more content like this! Maybe combine this with DIY Desk PC? Make a custom gaming table with a screen or projector built into it? Anything really!

theres one thing :

it shud have been called "tabletop gaming" and not "offline gaming"

as I expected this to be a video about how always online DRM

and forced multiplayer is slowly overtalking the game market ,

games being more and more focused on the online multiplayer only,

and thus a TRUE singleplayer campaing is rare to see

but I like D&D too , so eh

you guys shud make the names less clickbaity/misleading and read em twice before publishing ,

the youtube comments are upset (more than usual) , and you might get more views , but loose credibility

RyzenITX : Ryzen 7 1700 | GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI | 16gb DDR4 2666 | GTX 1060 | Cougar QBX

D&D 3 pfffff.... I still love Rolemaster and Traveller over D&D. Also the best D&D in m yopinion is the AD&D 2nd added with Forgotten Realms Campaing Setting. Too bad, haven't played PnPs in a very long time since our little group grew old and disbanded.

Loose the cringeworthy thumbnails.  Or Buzzfeed will be suing.

PC - NZXT H510 Elite, Ryzen 5600, 16GB DDR3200 2x8GB, EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultra, Asus VG278HQ 165hz,

Endlessly wishing for a BBQ in space.

This video should not have been on LinusTechTips. Maybe CSF, but not LTT.

No, any old projector will not work for you. It's very important that you use a short throw projector in order to get it to properly display on the table surface. I can link you to some guides later today when I have time to pull them up. If you decide you want to go ahead with the project and build one feel free to message me directly as well and I can help you out. :)

That's Roll20, which is a free browser based program that a lot of people use to play RPGs with other people on the internet. You can also use it to project a battlemap like we did by using a projector and a program like XSplit. If you're interested in playing roleplaying games but you don't have anyone around to play with, I'd really recommend trying out Roll20 and seeing if you like it.
