300$ for a gtx 460????

doomsriker

Sometimes deals are too good to be true. What really bothers me is when they are too bad to be true. What is this craigslist seller thinking? Would anyone on this planet even consider buying this? You could get a 1060 6gb for less money.image.jpg

Lol, a more realistic asking price is $50-$100 tops.

I feel like he meant $30. Even then though, a 460 is pretty much useless these days

Yeah most people have no clue about the value of their parts on the used market. Over a year ago I remember seeing prices as high as $250 (CAD) for a few different HD7870 when I was shopping for mine (ended up paying $70 CAD shipping included, that gives an idea of how much people are disconnected).

I'd pay a £10 premium for guaranteed Windows 7 driver support. $300 for a card from 2010 is a hard sell tho. Windows 7 support is probably its only selling point.

For Craigslist at least lol. I'd rather splurge on dinner out than give that person a dollar for a old 460.

We all laugh, but I get paid a lot of money for insane ebay mark ups. Just phrase your product a little differently and suddenly people are paying me $$$ for crap crap crap.

Better me than Best Buy I say.
