I expect everyone to use a Kensington lock of some sort. The only people allowed in are by invitation because they work with tech stuff.

either tom syndicate is loving his new gear or chinese manufacturers are reverse engineering the stolen prototypes to make wonky knockoffs.

either way whoever stole them is probably rich by now.

How is this even possible?  I thought all the fancy stuff was in it's own room filled with <insert company here> staff watching you at all times... O.o

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I wonder if one of the missing computers is that triple screen laptop Razer showed off?

It is! That's why it's a big deal!

INB4 caught within days.

On its own the theft is "losing confidence in humanity" territory, but the saddest part is that at a convention full of technology marvels, the thing that gets stolen is some Razer junk.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

But seriously, the most important question is how the hell anybody was allowed and able to get away with theft.

IDK about anybody else's country but in CHINA, if you steal you're going to jail for 10 years!

At CES I'd assume they'd have cameras plastered on every corner.

Seriously interested to hear how this goes, whether the moron is caught or not, and what items was stolen.

And if Razer is willing to reveal how they managed it!

PC - NZXT H510 Elite, Ryzen 5600, 16GB DDR3200 2x8GB, EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultra, Asus VG278HQ 165hz,

Mac - 1.4ghz i5, 4GB DDR3 1600mhz, Intel HD 5000.  x2

Endlessly wishing for a BBQ in space.

they probably have, that's why it's so unexpected and ehh.. surprising. but then again, there are A LOT of people moving around, it's hard to keep track of something constantly.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

I'm pretty sure that the laptop is what was stolen. There was nothing else there which was anything near the value of it.

Read Razer's response. If you read it carefully then you'd understand how this makes a lot more sense for their prototype laptop than a gaming peripheral.

Hmm there is something to that yeah, but then again that beamer set-up/idea they showed off is also a prototype, could be that one of either has been stolen, but only time will tell I guess.

From the article, it was more than one prototype? either someone seriously screwed up or this was really well planned.

Only thing I've seen from Razer is the report of two prototypes being stolen?
