Not the guy that has to scroll on mobile, ?dad?. Take consideration for those who will come now, tomorrow, and in the future.

Get the best CPU you can afford.

I can afford a 240$ CPU max, i have a 1300$ budget (not including peripherals), if u have any other better build i would gladly appreciate it, yet i think the new i5-6700k should do it it has a 20% better performance over the old one so it pairts with the curet i7-6700K processor (skylake)

You mean the new i7 7700k? there is no i5 6700k.

The i7 6700k is very equal to the i7 7700k, whichever is cheaper is best. Linus, and alot of many other youtubers have made recent videos on the i7 6700k VS the i7 7700k, there is no real difference.

i7 6700k is Skylake, the 2015 processor,

i7 7700k is Kabylake, the 2017 processor.

1.Bottleneck.

If your i5 bottlenecks your 1080 means your i5 is not capable of getting the most out of your gpu.your performance will get worse.

2. If you want just gaming and save some money go with gtx 1070.If you do video editing and want to spend more money go with a i7 6700k

3.SSD improves performance. It improves overall speed.make pc boot faster. Should be in your list.

4.Now if that was my build i would have gone for A asus motherboard. For the build quality and better UEFI.But it depends on you.You like gigabyte? Match with you color scheme?  Then go for it.Gigabyte is good as well.

4.Monitor depends on your budget.

If you want a high end monitor

Asus PG279q for the most out of gaming.

Acer X34 for the ultrawide beauty, premium color quality and its also good for gaming.

Both have G-sync

Cases aren't just about looks, building inside them matters too.

For 10$ more the NZXT source 210 is there. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/fXw323/nzxt-case-s210001

a GTX 1070 or GTX 980ti is more than enough to render current games at 60FPS+ ultra settings...anyone of them games.

crysis 3 just dont go crazy on anti-aliasing and it will run at 60FPS+ i have a 1425mhz 980ti in there that perform similar to a 1070 and crysis is fully enjoyable.

The cheap case doesn't even have room for dual fans on top, and I don't think it fits fans in the front either. I'll take my functional ugly box over my fashionable hotbox.
