Need help with fan shopping

Matthew Comfort

I'm in need of some 140mm PWM fans with good acoustics but with hopefully a lower price point. The ones I've been looking at are the be quiet! Pure Wings 2 but their max rpm is only 1000 and I'm curious if that's a good max or if I should look for something slightly higher. I wish I could afford some nice fancy Noctua's but I'm a college student and having to kinda pinch pennies here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

So what if their max is only 1000rpm? It's how much air they push that matters. You gotta pay for good quality fans that are high performance and silent. If you've got the money then go for the Silent Wings 2.
