Nick said in another topic that there was a miscommunication of what date the embargo was lifting. Hence why this video was a day late.

Okay, watched the video. I'm totally for an OC'n guide if it's done thoroughly.

I was talking the TIME of day of the uploads, not that this video should have gone up yesterday (FYI that was my post Nick was replying to).

Like it is to be expected when CES gets here, there will be multiple videos a day posted to Youtube and NO threads here for them to tell you, but we aren't even there yet and already time of day is all over the map, last week was because they had timed release videos like the Macbook video that had to be pushed out the DAY they received it, so that video was super late but then other random videos started getting posted 6 or 7 hours later then the target time, then for a few days we where back to normal, and now the last few days are back to the 6-7 hours late thing.

I don't really see the significance of the time of release to be that important though. I'd rather they release a video a day late than post something not truly finished(hi SSD laptop video) just to get it out roughly on time.

Trump's presidency doesn't start for a week or two, so AMD may join the fold of disappointments.

Referring to what @Slick said about doing an overclocking video, I would also like to see this video redone for OC'n DDR4 memory.

Talks about 5-7% increase in performance between Skylake and Kaby Lake while Kaby Lake CPU is overclocked 6.52% higher than the Skylake CPU....
in other words there is ZERO increase in performance from Skylake to Kaby Lake, gg Intel...gg xD

I believe he's referencing Arizona Sunshine (good mindless game, but not scary in the least) having content for i7 owners being open one month or so before others can get it.

I liked the video , a lot better that that AWFUL laptop revival video ,

but I disagree w/ the conclusion , no this not a good product ,

this is not worthy of the 7000 digit , there is 0% improvement in performance over last gen

this is BAD for the consumer , people rag on amd rereleasing Hawaii w/ minor improvements (r9 200->r9 300), kaby does not deserve better

RyzenAir : AMD R5 3600 | AsRock AB350M Pro4 | 32gb Aegis DDR4 3000 | GTX 1070 FE | Fractal Design Node 804
RyzenITX : Ryzen 7 1700 | GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI | 16gb DDR4 2666 | GTX 1060 | Cougar QBX

Watch the video... At 2:15, DRM is bad for consumers and it wont stop piracy(it was proved several times).
