Most of my laptops have had AMD CPUs in them... I've only had two laptops with Intel CPUs. My MBP with a C2D and an HP with an i5 2430m. So I've never had anything with Nvidia in it as far as I'm aware. Maybe the MBP had something from nvida because the C2D didn't have iGPU so idk.

 

One way or another, I'm likely to be getting an RX 480. Though a Vega Equivalent to a 1070 or a 1070 itself wouldn't be bad either but eh, a 480 is good enough.

Yeah the 480 is not a bad card. It has an amazing price to performance ratio.

AMD doesn't make super products, so the choice is easy. ;)

Before you say that I would probably want to see two monitors side by side, one at 144hz and one at 165hz... You'll be able to tell the actual difference then.

So they demoed Mass Effect on a 1080. Not sure they will announce a 1080ti right now. They are talking about cloud computing now.
