For real though Ryzen do better be all the hype AMD is build around it otherwise they'll suffer a lot on sales giving all more reason for Intel keep delaying the retirement of silicon on their processors.

Yeah, If Kaby didn't work for W7, all those memory overclockers would lose their minds, lol.

Eh, would still rather OCF. Can't really stomach the ASUS CS if something goes awry. It does look nice though.

i used to be a winderps 7 POS but swapped to 10 with a fresh install, I really actually like 10 more.  Sometimes there is small headaches with little things, but overall I like it more.

I've heard their CS on higher-ticket items isn't as bad, I had an RIVE a while back and they were realllly nice to me with some problems I had

Back when I had AMD, even their high-end Crosshair V, they were very shady. Saying the consumer caused physical damage to a board when they did not (without even providing evidence to the physical damage) is just a no-no.

idk I've never killed anything before or had anything DOA except a GPU I bought from Splave once for $40, he refunded me and didn't even ask for the card back lol

I still need win 7 unfortunately. I do already have a win 10 pro key waiting to be activated so i plan to dual boot.

Saw a review for the maximus extreme. Looks like they aren't using the same ir pwm.

Probably won't matter much, Der8auer said it looks like VRM components are the same as last gen's extreme, which had no problem running VRM heatsink-less in extreme conditions.

TBH when it comes to VRM, hella people over-think it. If you want to know whether or not a board has strong VRM, go look at hwbot and see if it holds / has close to world record OC's on longer benchmarks like gpupi / cinebench.  If they're running without a heatsink on VRM at like 6+ ghz you're gucci lol

Yea but I'd be mad to get an apex lol. Doesn't seem like a very good daily driver for my setup especially the measly 4 sata ports :(

I'm looking at their hero. Should be good. Overkill vrm tbh. Might get myself an aio or a custom cpu loop later on.

If AMD can get this right with RYZEN, Intel may have just laid the red carpet

Oh AMD has lit up the fire in Intel's arse with Ryzen for sure. Maybe that is why they (Intel) announced a few days ago that they'll be ending the Core series CPUs come 2019 and they'll replace it with a new architecture.

I'll probably just keep my MOCF, I'm sure it'll be just as good, plus I need Sata ports out the wazoo, I have 3 hdd and 2 ssd and plan on getting more lol
