Zen seems promising and I haven't been very interested in Kabylake and I'd suggest just waiting for the full information such as prices and benchmarks.

Few factors. Am I? Eh, no. I'll just get a 6700k unless Ryzen blows it away, I'll sell my 6700k and Extreme4 for a AM4 setup but otherwise probably not.

How do I think Ryzen will do? Very good, they have no choice but for it to do good. It might not destroy skylake but keep in mind, Zen wasn't meant to do that. Zen was just meant to close the gap that is between them and Intel right now. Zen+ is meant to be the CPU Lineup that AMD is developing to beat Intel. I feel like things like the SR7 at 8c/16t even if it is 5% slower then a 6900k, if it is $400-$800 then who tf cares, you'll be saving yourself $100s. ( I made such a wide price range since I don't think any confirmed prices have been set but rumors of $400-$800 have been speculated )

To be honest i love both windows 10 and linux. I really don't understand why people hate it so much. Besides the "Spying" which the government does anyways.

windows 10 is ugly, the start menu isn't usable, it's slow, it's unstable, only a few of my programs work w it and it doesn't work well with my hardware. they released it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early, like vista. the difference being, is that vista actually looked nice.

Don't know why your having trouble, I can run windows 10 on my laptop with no problems. And its specs are lower than yours.

It wouldn't even install on my laptop. I tried it, and lost data in the process. I'll be putting off the """"upgrade"""" for as long as possible.

Its not an upgrade its an option. If you want to stick with windows 7 or below or linux no one is forcing you to upgrade. Again, a pc is a pc and in the end its just a bunch of components working together, so i wouldn't see any problem in any OS that are out for consumers, whether free or paid.

My biggest concern with Windows 10 are the updates to be honest. As we've seen in the anniversary update Microsoft can just change your settings with updates. I also think that major updates like this over a long period (or not so long) might make problems. For me the simple fact that they have stuff in place that "spies" on you is enough for me to never update my Desktop though since I have it on my laptop and I see processes in the background running that I don't know what they do and Microsoft can just add those as they see fit which could also lead to more and more processing demand forcing the user having to upgrade their hardware just to be able to run the OS. Just my thoughts though.

I love how your the first woman to reply on any of my topics. Thank you for making my day. Usually i just get guys replying, just nice to hear from a girls perspective, and it is very hard to say right now because without any full specification we won't know which yields more price/performance. Which i am sure amd will get the trophy in this area as they are more budget friendly.
