Do you agree with nVidia's GPU pricing... - IT HAS DOUBLED!

Open your eyes! you're so ignorant! and yet you believe you have the wisdom to make the broad assumptions of both my own personal preferences and to brand the 300,000+ people who have bought home VR kits as flippant, superfluous, egotistical show offs who only bought into VR because they want to brag...

I spent 4 hours yesterday in Tilt Brush just drawing in 3d space with my own hands.

A quick glance at my steam stats shows I've spent 340 hours in VR games - But nooooo, you are definitely correct, I really am left feeling I need to defend my purchase - $2.35 per hour of use is SO EXPENSIVE! if only I had gotten value out of this purchase, such regret... oh well at least I can still show it to my friends! its just so hard to convince them to try out VR... (that's sarcasm in case you cant obviously detect it)

I'm not wasting more of my time replying to you - you're a mental case if you think VR is just hype and hot air.

I have over a thousand hours in Skyrim.

Nothing you said answers the question of how VR is worth the investment to someone who plays games like BF1.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

This is why many people decide not to pledge into VR until it doesn't come down in price, or until there is more content to use it. For me - I decided to not go into VR until it has gotten to the level of what the anime SAO advertised - Oh yes i mean Nerve Gear and I will not accept any other gimmick that will make people motion sick.

What I decided to replace VR with is something that may never be able to come into use from every person from the general public, because not many can do it - I am talking about Out-of-Body-Experience (OBE). IT IS BETTER than VR.

Well it's great you enjoy it, and yes for him might be a gimmick - for me it is as well. VR may be ok for the people who can afford it, don't get motion sick, but with it's current state, expect this to just go on for year that many won't be playing VR for many years to come.
